Simply Sweet

Meet Brooke... she's almost one and almost walking and simply precious. She has all the typical traits of any princess - sparkling eyes, sweet smile, impeccable style and sassy attitude. Her brother Brett was the most striking Prince, ready to pose in any way that I asked him... if only all kids were as easy to shoot as he was - and handsome to boot! Mom's lock up your daughters and sons... this sibling duo will be a package of heart breakers someday! Thanks to my friend Lori for letting me borrow her sweet kiddos for a portfolio shoot. It was fun!

Birth Announcement

Off to print this week... my nephew's birth announcement.

Just call me Auntie

After being a "mommy" for over 6 years now, I get to add a new title to my bag: "Aunt Miranda."

I couldn't be more proud. This little guy was a joy to take photos of. I flipped and flopped him all over and after a grunt or two, he'd settle right back down to wherever I put him. He's the perfect little model and he's less than 3 weeks old.

Welcome to the family little Mr. Chase. I love you buddy.

Pretty as a Flower

These little flowers were a great find at Michaels the other day. And little Miss Skyler liked posing with them. They are nearly as pretty as she is.

Little Fingers and Toes

Experimenting with a storyboard from some pictures from Sunday's session. Skyler was the cutest thing ever, and despite being a tad bit shy with the camera, she was a lovely little poser.

Family Session Sneak Peak

This is a good friend of mine and her sweet girls and hubby. We had a lot of fun playing and taking pictures, even if the girls didn't want to get to close to each other... typical sisters. Ha.
















These two were just test shots as I was adjusting lighting, but I loved them so much, I had to do some post-processing to them as well. Hope Kristi likes them.

Spring Catalog Released

My other passion is Scentsy candles... We are off to conference tomorrow in Oklahoma City and I am excited to meet other consultants and leaders in this dynamic company. I had fun with the new images from the Spring/Summer catalog and created a new website splash image and email signature for my clients to see. I always enjoy designing these, and am flattered that several consultants hire me to do theirs as well.






My Director Staci also has me to our team newsletter each month and we created a logo for our team... this is the sign we'll be presenting at conference tomorrow -- another fun design. I love what I do!

Fun with Grunge

Photo editing is one of my most favorite things... Especially when there are wonderful aspects of a photo but just a few "off" things that need to be fixed so your eye goes to the interesting areas.

Grunge or Texture is one of the newest methods of photo editing. Taking a normal photograph and making it creative and artistic.
